Administration
Provides administrative and management support for all activities of the Public Works Department including:
* Customer service
* Clerical support
* Strategic planning
* Operations management
Facility Maintenance
Performs maintenance, custodial, construction and remodeling services for City buildings.
Engineering
Provides:
* Construction management of capital improvement projects
* Development review and inspections
* Location and inspection services in public right-of-way
* Traffic and transportation engineering
* Mapping and drafting services
* Streetlight and traffic signal operation
* Storm sewer run-off program
* Permitting and licensing in City right-of-way
Street & Traffic Maintenance
Maintains the City’s roadway infrastructure through:
* Trash collection services
* Snow and ice removal
* Street cleaning
* Asphalt maintenance
* Storm sewer maintenance
* Traffic sign and pavement marking services
* Weed and ditch maintenance
* Mosquito control
Fleet Management
Conducts preventive maintenance and repair services on City vehicles and equipment.
